Can Paloumé
is situated above Le Gîte and nearest to the main pool with wonderful views across the farm to Spain. Built 300 hundred years ago from honey coloured local stone it has been carefully restored and converted into a very attractive gîte.

There are two Double bedrooms, one with a full size beds, one bed, and one twin. Both have wardrobes and chests of drawers, bedside tables with reading lamps, electric heating, duvets, blankets and pillows. Linen is supplied and the beds are made up ready for use. The twin bedded is large enough for an extra bed if required.

The Bathroom has a shower, washbasin, electric heater and W.C.

The Kitchen features a large window over the double sink with views of the garden, meadow & woods beyond. It is fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There is plenty of cupboard space and utensils.

Free to air Satellite receiver, TV, VCR and DVD player, broadband WIFI are available as required.

The open-plan Living room is strikingly attractive. It’s original features including a beautiful ceiling with massive oak beam and joists from our own chestnut panelling, a central stone pillar and exposed stone. The thick stone walls, roof insulation and ceiling fan keeps it cool in the summer (no need for air conditioning). It is comfortably furnished and heated by a Jodl log stove and electric wall heaters. There’s a well stocked bookcase and pictures by local artists hang in the dining area & bedrooms. The floors are tiled and there is double-glazing throughout.

A glazed door opens onto the shaded dining Terrace (with BBQ, table and chairs) and the walled Mediterranean garden has sun beds and a large parasol. There are 2 gates to the main pool and safe off-road parking. The wild flower meadows slope up to our 100 acres of woodlands where children can play and explore in freedom and safety with Rosie, our gentle & friendly dog.

Gas, electricity, linen and all cleaning materials are included. When rented with Le Gîte access between it and Can Paloumé is via (gated) steps between their terrace..
